About us

Maria Center began her real estate career as an Ohio real estate salesperson in 2003 after developing an interest in real estate investing. Throughout her career she has been involved in the renovation for resale of many houses. She's always enjoyed helping neglected properties become well-loved homes. In 2011, she earned her Ohio Broker’s license and then later became a licensed Broker in Florida (BK3492965) and Alabama (000141296).

Due to her caring and encouraging nature, Maria thoroughly enjoys helping others achieve success - whether they are a seasoned or new Agent. She's mentored and tutored hundreds of aspiring Agents nationwide to help them pass their real estate exams. She's a licensed Real Estate Instructor in Florida and presents weekly national webinars in real estate exam prep for PrepAgent.

Before enjoying a career in real estate, Maria was a newspaper reporter for Cincinnati CityBeat and earned a degree in English/Journalism from Miami University. She now leverages her passion for education, smart technology and training to help the Agents of Nestiny Realty catapult their careers to a whole new level.

Katie joined the Nestiny team to bring her marketing and consulting experience to Nestiny Realty Agents. With a Master's in Education, Katie spent five years in the classroom before she became an entrepreneur- running two small businesses in Virginia.

Katie previously owned and operated a paint and sip studio in Charlottesville for 8 years and currently owns The Bitty Bar, an event rental company serving Northern and Central Virginia. Katie is well-versed in what it takes to leverage yourself and be the driving force behind a business.

She stands ready to support our Agents to meet the demands and challenges they face in this busy industry. Although she spent the last few years living the island life in Key West, Florida - Katie, a native Virginian, enjoys helping others find a deep love for the beauty of Virginia and making it a place to call home.

Katie finds her time outside of work filled with the outdoors either on the water or in the mountains. She enjoys time spent on her family's farm in the Shenandoah Valley deep in a project and supporting small businesses to keep her love for all things local alive!

Mary Kay is a seasoned professional with broad experience in the corporate, service industry and startup realms. Prior to joining Nestiny, she's been an accomplished sales leader for various new construction home communities and has incredibly deep roots in the Richmond metro area.

Currently a Licensed Realtor, she's excited to leverage her skills and lessons learned to help our Agents more meaningfully connect with their clients! Her natural ability to connect with people and understand their needs and goals has been a vital part to her success. Once introduced to Nestiny Realty's modern approach to real estate — she quickly believed in Nestiny's grand vision and the innovative tools we've built to transform our industry.

When not mentoring Agents and spreading the word about Nestiny, Mary Kay enjoys life with her funny hubby and son who recently graduated college and landed a wonderful job. She's a talented home chef (especially pimento cheese) and a lover of champagne — and we know she'll have much to celebrate with us!
